Two coaches of a goods train derailed on the Delhi-Agra route near Mathura station, in Uttar Pradesh. The derailment has affected the rail traffic on the Delhi-Agra route. No casualty or injury has, been reported so far.

In a similar incident on October 4, three coaches of a goods train derailed leaving the rail traffic on the Kansganj-Acchnera route affected. The railway administration had assured strict action against the guilty. At least 23 people were killed on August 19 when the Utkal Express derailed in Muzaffarnagar. Similarly on August 23, a passenger train had derailed near Mathura. Notably, there was no loss of life and property in the accident.
