Four men, identified as Intelligence Bureau (IB) operatives, were caught outside the residence of former Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) director Alok Verma around 4 am on Thursday, according to a report in The Wire.

The Central Vigilance Committee (CVC) said in a press release that CBI Director Alok Verma was ‘non-cooperative’ with the commission and ‘non-compliant’ with the requirements and directions of the CVC, while opposition leaders claimed that Verma is being targeted due to his investigation of the Rafale deal.
