Actress Sherlyn Chopra’s anticipatory bail plea has been rejected by the Mumbai Sessions Court.

The actress-model had applied to the Mumbai Sessions Court for anticipatory bail in the porn racket case, fearing arrest like co-accused Raj Kundra. Mumbai Crime Branch’s Property Cell had summoned Chopra before them on July 27 to record her statement in connection to the pornography case involving Kundra – who is currently in 14-day judicial custody.

Earlier, the actress alleged Raj Kundra of Sexual Assault. According to her, Kundra began “kissing” her even though she “resisted”. She claimed that he allegedly told her that his relationship with his wife (actress Shilpa Shetty) was “complicated” and he was “stressed most of the time.” Chopra alleged that she asked him to stop as she was “scared”. She eventually managed to push him and rushed into the washroom, the complaint stated.

She is likely to be summoned for further questioning in the porn racket case this week, as both hers and Kundra’s bail pleas stand rejected.
