Tamilnadu Political Party Maakal Needhi Maiam’s President and Indian Actor celebrates his 65th Birthday in Chennai

 

Award-winning South Indian actor Kamal Hassan has turned 65 today. His innumerable fans celebrated it in different parts of the state. They also took to social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to wish their actor long life and success. They also trended #Kamal60 to mark his completion of six decades in the film industry as an actor.

Kamal Haasan is an Indian film actor, film director, screenwriter, producer, singer, lyricist and Politician for the Maakal Needhi Maiam party. He entered the cine industry as a child artist in 1960 in a Tamil film Kalathur Kannamma at the age of 4. He has also acted in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and Bengali films.

Kamal has won 3 National Awards for the role of Best actor, kalaimamani award in 1979, Padma Shri in 1990, Padma Bhushan in 2014, Ordre des arts award in 2016, Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 and Nineteen Filmfare Awards till 2019.

Kamal’s breakthrough as a lead actor in film Apporva Raagangal which got a massive reach with the audience and followed by Moondram pirai, Nayakan, Indian, Hey ram, Virumaandi, Dasavathaaram and Vishwaroopam made a special move in the film Industry. After the Dasavathharam movie people started to call him as ‘ Ulaganayagan’ which means World’s hero.

In the Year 2018, kamal entered into Politics by launching a new party called ‘Makal Needhi Maiam’ and took part in the Chennai Central Elections and also to take part in State elections in 2021.
