New Delhi: petrol prices continue to tumble on Thursday as the commodity is now being sold at Rs 79.37 per liter in the national capital
Though in Mumbai petrol l prices witnessed a marginal decline of 16 paise and is now being sold at 84.86 per liter, diesel price remains unchanged.
The fuel price had earlier witnessed a relentless hike in the country and in this regard, the Union Finance Minister,Arun Jaitley had October 4 had announced a reduction of Rs 2.50 per liter on both petrol and diesel.
After curbing the excise duty on the commodity by Rs 1.50 per liter and urged respective governments to slash the same amount at their end
