Pak FM: Received offer to trade Kulbhushan for Peshawar terrorist

Pakistan Foreign Minister Khwaja Asif claimed today that he received an offer from the Afghanistan National Security Advisor of Afghanistan to swap Kulbhushan Jadhav for a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist involved in the Peshawar Army Public School attack of 2014. Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian National, was sentenced to death after he was convicted by a military court in Pakistan on charges of terrorism and espionage. India moved to the International Court of Justice for a stay on the execution of Jadhav and won.

Some analysts see this as a calculated move by the Pakistan FM to divert attention from Pakistan after the US and India slammed it at the United Nations for providing safe haven to terrorists.
