OnePlus 6T is set to launch on August 17 according to a leak on the Chinese social networking site Weibo.
A user has uploaded a photo of the invitation, which bears the words ‘Unlock the Speed; OnePlus 6T Launch Event; October 17; India’. Photos of the phone casing are attached as well.
India is a key market for OnePlus, where the device will launch exclusively on Amazon.
According to the set of leaked images, the phone is set to feature a triple camera set up, which contradicts earlier leaks which showed the phone with a dual camera set up.
With a design remarkably similar to the Vivo V11 Pro, the smartphone will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, which points to the “Unlock the speed” tagline.
The OnePlus 6T reportedly has a 6.4” Full HD+(2340×1080 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 display aspect ratio. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, along with 8GB RAM and upto 256GB internal storage. OnePlus has decided to replace the 3.5 mm headphone jack in favour of a USB Type-C port.
