BSF Jawan’s body reaches home after he was mutilated by Pakistani troops along the border.

Chennai, September 20:  Hundreds of people paid tribute to the mortal remains of BSF Jawan Narendra Singh after his body arrived at his residence in Sonipat, Haryana on Thursday.

Narendra Singh had been hacked to death by the Pakistani forces along the International Border near Jammu. He had gone missing after an exchange of fire with Pakistan in Jammu’s Ramgarh sector on September 18.

The slain BSF jawan’s throat was slit by the Pakistani troops, a government official was quoted as saying by PTI. After the ”brutal” and “unprecedented” incident, the security forces issued a “high alert” across the entire IB and the Line of Control (LoC).

The Border Security Force has lodged a strong complaint with its counterparts – the Pakistan Rangers.

The brutal incident in Ramgarh sector on Tuesday was reminiscent of similar attacks in the past against Indian security forces along the LoC.
