Mercedes-Benz launched its first electric product EQC under EQ brand at Paris Motor Show. It is the first of all 10 electric cars which mercedes is going to launch by 2025.
It has retained most of its design from its basic concept. The new grill is done in chrome, while all the surroundings till its headlamp are covered in glossy black. The profile is based upon GLC and the D-pillar gives its a sporty look.
As we move to the rear, the single panel LED tail light seems to be similar to the Cayenne. The exhaust tips are at perfect place and the rear has got a perfect finish. The overall finish are no less than a conventional SUV. The cabin is no less than a cockpit, and trend will continue with the rest of its models. They have also installed MBUX infotainment system in their automobile.
Under the hood, it has got a set of two motors on each of its axle. The combination of 300kW and 765Nm can push the vehicle from 0kmph to 100kmph in just 5.1 seconds.

Unfortunately, its top speed is only 180kmph and can travel just 450 km after it has been fully charged. The motors are having 80 kWh lithium-ion battery pack weighing 650 kilograms thus pushing the scales to 2,425 kilograms.
We can expect to see EQC making its way to India once the infrastructure gets up to the mark.
