A massive fire has broken out at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in Ambernath, Thane. Firefighting operations are underway as tenders have been rushed to the spot of the action.

The blaze erupted at around 5:45 am and the cause of the fire remains unknown. 

The Municipal Corporation’s Regional Disaster Management Cell has said that there were 8 fire engines from Ambernath and the neighbouring Badlapur town that were rushed to the spot.

According to news agency ANI, no casualties have been reported so far.
