Mahashay Dharampal Gulati passes away at 98

“Mahashay” Dharampal Singh, owner of MDH Masala passes away at 98 on Thursday morning. According to the reports by  Times Of India, it is said that he was undergoing some treatments at the hospital for the last three weeks. The cause of death was cardiac arrest today morning. One could never have imagined the brand without recalling his face along with it as he was regularly featured in almost all of the advertisements. He was also awarded the prestigious  Padma Bhushan, India’ third-highest civilian award, last year.

Manish Sisodia, Chief Minister of Delhi, was the first one who took to twitter to inform people about his sad demise. Condolences have started to pour from the entire nation on the sad demise of the “King of  Spices”.
