Virat Kohli needed just 205 ODI innings to become the 13th batsman to score over 10,000 runs in one-day international cricket. He reached the milestone in 54 fewer innings than Sachin Tendulkar, his closest competition.
Both Virat Kohli and Ambati Rayudu scored half-centuries; as India consolidated and reached 124 runs at the halfway stage of the first innings.

Openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan departed early, after India won the toss and elected to bat first in the second one-day international match being played against the Windies at Vishakhapatnam, on Wednesday.
Obed McCoy made his debut for the Windies, and India brought back Kuldeep Yadav into their eleven.
The deck has something for the spinners but India will want to get 300 with the dew expected to come in. They are playing three spinners.

Fans were waiting with bated breath for Kohli to become the fastest cricketer to cross the 10,000 runs mark in one day internationals. He was just 81 runs short, and Indian fans wanted him to reach the milestone in today’s match itself. Like he keeps doing with superhuman regularity, Kohli delivered.
