IRCTC planning to run 4 more ‘Shri Ramayana Yatra’ train

The major holy sites associated with Lord Rama’s life will be visited by the AC Tourist train on the Ramayana circuit. Starts at 82950 for the package.

NEW DELHI: Devotees’ high demand has prompted the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to offer more opportunities to people for darshan and visits to all significant locations associated with the Lord Shri Rama’s life.
They’re planning on running four more Ramayana Circuit Special Trains to promote religious tourism. This second wave of trains will begin service on November 7 in addition to the first wave that was previously announced.

IRCTC officials said, trains will depart from four cities; Madurai, Pune, Shri Ganganagar, and Ahmedabad in the month of November and January. The first scheduled train will start on November 16, and then on November 25, November 27. The fourth train will start on January 20.

Notably, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a special tourist train to promote the Indian government’s “Dekho Apna Desh” initiative. Previously, this train was only available to Sleeper class passengers; however, the proposed first tour will make use of a Deluxe AC tourist train outfitted with a wide range of modern features and amenities. The State of Art Deluxe AC tourist train has two fine dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, and shower cubicles in each coach, as well as sensor-based washroom functions.

The fully air-conditioned train offers first and second-class accommodations. Additional safety measures include CCTV cameras and security guards in every coach. The tour’s total cost is Rs 82950 plus tax, which includes AC-class train travel, AC-hotel accommodations, all meals, all transfers and sightseeing in AC vehicles, travel insurance, and the services of IRCTC tour managers.
IRCTC officials say that this train can accommodate 156 passengers and that the first one is already nearly sold out.

All subsequent trains, on the other hand, will have three AC class coaches and three sleeper coaches. From 7,560 to 16,065 is the official tour package price (approximately).

Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple, Hanuman Temple, and Bharat Mandir in Nandigram, as well as Sitamarhi in Bihar, Sita’s birthplace, and the Ram-Janki Temple in Janakpur, Nepal, will be on this tour’s itinerary for tourists to see. After arriving in Varanasi, the train will take passengers to visit the holy cities of Prayagraj, Varanasi, Shringverpur, and Chitrakot. Along the way, pilgrims will be able to worship Lord Ram at shrines in Nasik, Hampi, and Rameswaram. Guests will travel 7,500 kilometres in total over the course of the tour.

“To ensure the safety measures after the COVID-19 vaccine in this tourist train, guests of age group 18 or above are required to get the full COVID-19 vaccine,” read an official statement.
In addition to these other supplies, IRCTC will provide all tourists with a safety kit that includes face masks, gloves, and hand sanitiser.
