Chennai, November 14, 2018 iPad Pro will be launched on November 16 (Friday) in India . This was known by two premium Apple re-seller stores in India. Both the 11-inch and 1.9 inch models were launched in New York on October 31.
Both the variants of the iPad pro have LCD promotion liquid retina display panels and are 5.9mm thick. iPad Pro models are powered by the company’s latest in-house Apple A12X Bionic 7nm SoC. The SoC has an 8-core CPU and a 7-core GPU, the latter offers 2x the graphics performance compared to last year’s Apple A11X. The new SoC has more than 10 billion transistors. The iPad Pro now comes with up to 1TB of inbuilt storage.
The integration of A12X Bionic chip which is a neural engine will allow implementation of machine learning to help access UI elements and apps in an enhanced manner.
The most amazing part of this new iPad is the face id which is enabled by the TrueDepth camera placed at the tablets top bezel. This new face id will bring support to the animoji and memoji, working on both portrait as well as landscape modes. This is something that the new iPhones cannot do.

This iPad pro uses the USB Type-C for charging, data transfer and external connectivity. It, however no longer supports 3.5 mm headphone jack. It has a 12 megapixel rear camera sensor with new improved true tone LED flash and support for 4k video recording at 60fps .
The new iPad Pro offers 10 hours of battery life and comes with a 18W power adapter and lastly, the iPad Pro comes with a four speaker setup that has two woofers and two tweeters for wider stereo sound.
The pre-order for the iPad has already started with pricing starting from Rs 71,900 to 1,57,900.
