Rucha Limaye New Delhi: Gold medalist of Federation Cup senior athletics championship and a national champion Anita, has been transitionally suspended by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) for failing a dope test- as rising in testosterone level. Anita’s deferral period has begun on October 22.
She tested during the 23rd Federation Cup meets in NIS Patiala last year, where she achieved the first position winning gold with a throw of 53.43m. At two different athletics, meets-Anita won silver medals as well.

The usual thing about Anita testing positive is the extended impede in announcing the result of her urine sample. It was collected by the NADA DCO’s, 19 months ago while the result was received less than a month back from Qatar’s Doha Laboratory.
Her level of testosterone limits crossed the prescribed threshold. NADA decided to get her sample tested scientifically and now has resumed its sample collection, recently testing Bajirang Punia, Vinesh Phogat, Pooja Dhanda, Narsingh Yadav among others.
