India vs West Indies: Prithvi Shaw broke the 59-year-old record

Rajkot: Prithviraj became the second youngest Indian to open the Test in the Test series by the West Indies, made a rare record in his debut match. Half centuries were scored by 7 fours in 55 balls. Shaw has set the record for the first half of the Half Century in a Test match for India. Prithviraj broke the 59-year-old record.

 Abbas (20 years 131 days) made his half-century in the Test match against England at Manchester in 1959. He set the record for the youngest to score a half century in the debut match. Now it breaks Prithvi Shaw. Prithvi Shaw achieved this feat at the age of 18 years 329 days.

 

Prithvi Shaw is in third place in the list of Indian cricketers who made the first half of the first Test half century. Sachin Tendulkar (16 years 214 days) is in the top position, while Parthiv Patel (18 years and 301 days) is in second place. Ravi Sasthuri (19 years 215 days) is in the fourth place, while Dinesh Karthir (19 years 291 days) is in fifth place.
