Conducting a massive roadshow on the last campaign day for the Hyderabad civic polls, Amit Shah asks local citizens to give BJP a chance
At a press briefing post his roadshow for GHMC at Secunderabad, Union Home Secretary Amit Shah promises that if the BJP was given a chance at Hyderabad, the party would do away with “Nizam culture” and restore democracy in a “new, modern city”.
We’re going to free Hyderabad from the Nawab, Nizam culture and create a mini-India here.
We want to build Hyderabad into a modern city, free from the shackles of Nizam culture.

Shah arrived at Hyderabad at 10.30 AM, organizing a roadshow at Warasiguda as the final showdown for the BJP’s campaign before the Hyderabad civic polls. First visiting the Bhagyalakshmi temple, his 9-hour trip had the press conference scheduled for the afternoon.

Amit Shah also added that the BJP would help transform Hyderabad into a world-class IT hub, alleging that the current municipal corporation under the Congress and TRS were big roadblocks to any technological development.
