Responding to PM Modi’s jibe at him, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav said on Thursday that “He (Narendra Modi) is the Prime Minister of the country, he can say anything.”
In his speech on Wednesday, PM Modi changed his narrative from speaking about his alliance partner, incumbent Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s developmental work to reminding people about Lalu-Rabri regime.
He compared it to ‘Jungle Raj’ and said that the young leader is the ‘Yuvraaj (prince) of the Jungle Raj’.
Tejashwi added that since he was in Bihar the Prime Minister should have spoken about the issues concerning the place and that people know the truths.
“He should have spoken on the special package for the state (that Modi announced before the 2015 elections), unemployment and hunger. People were expecting he would speak on these issues,” he said.
