Google’s Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are now on sale in India

Google’s flagship models Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are officially on sale in India and will be sold by their online and offline partners. The all-new Google Pixel 3 series features dual front cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and supports wireless charging. Both smartphones have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and support HDR. In terms of connectivity, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL include Wi-Fi 2.4GHz + 5.0GHz 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 + LE, NFC, Google Cast, GPS, and GLONASS.

Google Pixel 3 price in India has been set at Rs. 71,000 for the base 64GB storage variant and Rs. 80,000 for the 128GB storage model. On the other hand, Google Pixel 3 XL 64GB storage variant has been priced at Rs. 83,000, while the 128GB storage model comes in at Rs. 92,000 in the Indian market. The sale will kick-start from November 1 across online and offline partners including Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Croma, Poorvika, Bajaj Electronics, and Vijay Sales.

The camera of Pixel 2 has been praised by both consumers and critics even superseding IPhone .  Pixel 3 camera is much better as it builds from Pixel 2’s  machine learning camera clarity and consistency.

Ever since the release of Pixel 3, people have started taking pictures from Pixel and comparing it to other phones. On twitter, #Pixel3 is being used as common hashtag for users to post the comparative images to show the calibre of Pixel camera.

The pre–booking for the phone began on October 11 on Flipkart and the buzz has been high after engaging reviews. Pixel 3 will come out with latest Android 9.0 Pie OS. In terms of display, Google Pixel 3 sports a 5.5-inch full HD+ flexible OLED display with an aspect ratio 18:9 aspect ratio while the bigger variant Pixel 3 XL features a 6.3-inch QHD+ OLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

On the downside, both Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL come with a 4 GB RAM  similar to the earlier model of Pixel 2. The battery of Pixel 3 has Li-Po 2915 mAh battery and Pixel 3 XL has Li-Po 3430 mAh battery which is a big let-down as Pixel 2 had more powerful battery.

The new Pixel 3 series will bundle a free Google Home Mini speaker. As per the smartphone retailer Mahesh Telecom, consumers who exchange their older Pixel or Nexus device via select offline stores before November 7 will get a free Google Home Mini.
