Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal met Haryana CM ML Khattar in Chandigarh, where they vowed at a joint press conference to fight together against this menace. Khattar also told Kejriwal that he has already asked the centre to allot Rs. 1,600 crore for management of Paddy straw.
With increasing pollution levels in Delhi, CM Arvind Kejriwal is meeting Chief Minister’s of neighbouring states to help curb the issue. Kejriwal was supposed to meet ML Khattar in Delhi, but due to some unavoidable situation,the latter asked Kejriwal to visit Chandigarh. Kejriwal therefore tweeted to the Punjab CM Amarinder Singh requesting him to meet him in Punjab. But he refused to meet him, terming that the meet would not be of any use.
