Dassault Aviation, the company manufacturing Rafale fighter jets has issued a statement clarifying on the pact with the Indian government that it has independently choosen its partnership with Reliance Defence.

On its official website, titled as ‘Rafale contract for India: clarifications by Dassault Aviation’, the company has stated that it was committed to have offsets in India worth 50 percent of the value of the purchase of 36 Rafale jets.
They have also added that all the deals have been done within the framework of the September 2016 Inter-Government Agreement between France and India and in compliance with the Indian regulations.
