Congress meets CAG again over Rafale deal

A high-level Congress delegation reaches CAG again for the second time in 15 days to seek a forensic audit of the Rafale deal between France and India.

The Rafale deal, which has been a matter of contention for the last month, the Congress hopes that the Rafale deal can have the same impact that the Bofors scandal had in 1989.

Appealing to the CAG Rajiv Mishra, the Congress asked for the details of the Rafale to be shown to the Parliament.

The Congress is currently demanding a joint parliamentary committee probe into the matter.
