Fuzhou (China): Ace Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth advanced to the pre-quarterfinals of the China Open World Tour Super 750 tournament after defeating Lucas Corvee of France on the second day of the China Open by registering 21-12, 21-16 win in men’s single match.
Men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also advanced to the second round of the tournament, registering a straight games victory over seventh seed Danish pair of Mads Conrad-Petersen and Mads Pieler Kolding.

In the mixed doubles, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Ashwini Ponnappa bowed out of the tournament fighting against the seventh seed Peng Soon Chan and Liu Ying Goh in three games.
