Nine people died on Thursday morning in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra district after an SUV hit a tractor-trolley.
Agra Senior Superintendent of Police Babloo Kumar said that three others are injured and are taken to the hospital. He further said that this incident took place on the Agra-Kanpur highway in the Etmadaula police station area around 5 am.
The Police Department reported to PTI that the speeding SUV crossed over to the other side of the road, hitting the tractor-trolley. Twelve people got injured and were taken to a hospital, where nine of them died.
The report stated that the victims belonged to Jharkhand.
