The surviving 17 year old from the unnao murder case, has revealed, through her mother that their hands weren’t tied, according to Unnao SP Sureshrao Anand Kulkarni
The girls aged 13, 16, and 17 were sisters while the 13 year-old was their cousin, and were found in their field by villagers after they had gone out to get fodder for their cattle but hadn’t returned.
As per investigation so far, statements of eye witnesses & opinion of doctor, a lot of froth was found at the spot. So, prima facie there are symptoms of poisoning. We’re investigating the matter. While 2 of them are dead, the 17 year-old has been admitted to Unnao hospital in a critical condition.
So far the three girls are suspected to have been poisoned taking into account witness account according to the Unnao SP Sureshrao Anand Kulkarni.
According to Unnao SP, “Under the Asoha Police Station limits, three girls were found unconscious in their own farm. They were sent to hospital. Prima facie, it has come to light that they had gone to get fodder and when the family members went looking for them, they found them lying in the field. There was some white substance coming out of their mouth and doctors have said there were symptoms of poisoning. We are recording statements of all the people concerned and an in-depth probe is being conducted. Necessary action is being taken.”
