The Indian National Congress (INC) has submitted a memorandum to the Comptroller Auditor General (CAG) claiming irregularities in the Rafale deal and expect a report by the constitutional body soon.
“We have given a detailed memorandum along with enclosures on the irregularities and acts of omission and commission by the government in the fighter jet deal. We expect the CAG will prepare a report soon and present it before Parliament,” senior Congress leader Anand Sharma told reporters after meeting the CAG of India.

The Congress has criticized the Rafale deal agggressively and is seeking to make it a major election issue for key states this year, and the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
