Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal addresses the nation live to answer queries related to CBSE Board examinations

The Minister began his live address to the nation by congratulating Ministers for conducting examinations successfully in 2020 despite the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. Interacting with the students, the Minister announced that 17 states have now decided to re-open schools and that students will be returning to school shortly following all necessary safety protocols.
Not wanting to waste students year the Minister announced that JEE and NEET exams will be held on time despite the pandemic.
Answering to requests of postponing the CBSE Board Examinations, the Minister stated that exams will be followed according to the schedule set as students have been given enough time to prepare for them.
