On the occassion of Diwali, the South Korean First Lady, Kim Jung Sook, draped herself in an elegant saree to a Diwali function in Ayodhya. she lighted the diya as the pilgrim city soaked in the festivities.

As Ms Kim landed in a chopper near the Ram Kath Park venue, she was welcomed by people chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’.  Kim garlanded “Sita” as they got off the helicopter and state Governor Ram Naik and Adityanath welcomed “Lord Ram” and “Laxman”. She began her Ayodhya tour by offering tributes at the Queen Heo Memorial.
