Chennai: The audio recording which contained the last recorded voice of former late Chief minister Jayalalithaa, has been confirmed as authentic by a doctor of Apollo hospitals during her cross examination at the Arumughaswamy commission.
This was revealed by Raja Senthoor Pandian, a close aide of Jayalalitha at a press meet on Monday evening.The audio was released in March by a commission that had been in charge of probing the circumstances that led to Jayalalitha’s hospitalization and her consequent death.
The recording contains voices of Jayalalitha, Dr. Sivakumar and Dr. Archana, the latter reading out Jayalalithaa’s blood pressure which was 140, to which the former CM replied that it is normal for her.
The audio from a pendrive was played three times during the cross-examination. Nine witnesses including doctors and nurses from Apollo, were cross-examined on Monday Sources said that the first mention of the audio was made by Dr. KV Sivakumar in March.
