BCCI nominates Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the country’s third highest civilian award – the Padma Bhushan for the contribution to Indian cricket.
Considered as one of the most successful captains of the Indian Cricket Team, Captain Cool has already bagged the Arjuna Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratan and been confered the Padma Shri title by the Government of India.

The wicketkeeper captain is the first to fuel the team to climb on top of all the charts in both one-day and test cricket rankings.
BCCI acting president CK Khanna told PTI on Wednesday that Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been nominated by a unanimous decision by the board members. Dhoni has scored 9737 runs in 302 ODIs besides 4876 runs in 90 test matches.
