Here’s a look at what’s in store for OnePlus 6T buyers.

The OnePlus 6T comes as the Chinese mobile maker’s second flagship product of the year and the company’s first smartphone to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a new design with waterdrop display notch at the front. Other upgrades with the OnePlus 6T include screen unlock, a bigger battery, updated cameras and more.
OnePlus launched OnePlus 6T in India on Tuesday, following its global launch in New York on Monday. OnePlus 6T has been launched in India as the successor to the OnePlus 6. The mid-cycle refresh model features improvements in the display, biometrics, camera, performance and battery departments

The OnePlus 6T price in India starts at Rs. 37,999 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version while the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version will retail at Rs. 41,999. The higher-end 8GB RAM/256GB storage version of the OnePlus 6T has been priced at Rs. 45,999. On the other hand, the OnePlus 6T will be made available in Mirror Black and Midnight Black colour options.
It will go on sale in India for the first time via Amazon India on November 1, 2018. The smartphone will be available via Croma Stores and Reliance Digital Stores offline. As part of the launch offers, OnePlus 6T buyers will also get Rs. 5,400 cashback on purchase of OnePlus 6T from Reliance Jio in form of 36 vouchers worth Rs 150 each in the MyJio app, which can be used for making future recharges.

The specifications
The OnePlus 6T sports a 6.41-inch Full HD+ (1080 × 2340 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 100.63 per cent sRGB colour gamut, more than 600 nits of brightness, 86 per cent screen-to-body-ratio. DCI-P3 colour gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 clocked at 2.8GHz paired with Adreno 630 GPU. The OnePlus 6T includes 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of inbuilt storage.

For optics, the OnePlus 6T features a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.6″ Sony IMX519 sensor, dual LED Flash, 1.22μm pixel size, OIS, EIS and a secondary 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376K sensor, 1.0μm pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, 480 fps slo-mo video at 720p, 240 fps at 1080p and 4K at 60 fps. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX 371 sensor and 1.0μm pixel size.

While the OnePlus 6T runs Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box with OxygenOS 9.0 on top, it comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano) connectivity. Other features of the smartphone include a face unlock water and dust resistance, bottom-facing speaker, Dirac HD Sound and USB Type-C audio.
Connectivity options of the OnePlus 6T include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), USB Type-C and NFC while the whole package is backed by a 3700mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V – 4A) support. The OnePlus 6T is fuelled by a 3,700mAh battery with support for up to 20W fast charging and a full day of battery power in 30 minutes of charge with the bundled charger.

The smartphone packs top-end specifications and design elements and is looking to take on its rivals in one of its key markets, India. It will be looking to compete with premium-looking, affordable flagship handsets from manufacturers like Xiaomi and Asus, among others. OnePlus 6T has been priced aggressively in India when compared to other flagships such as the iPhone XR, Pixel 3, Note 9 among others.
