Union Home Minister Amit Shah claimed that the benefits of 80 plus schemes deployed by the center for the people are blocked by the Mamata-led government in West Bengal.

Top BJP leader Shah is already on a two-day visit to West Bengal to have an assessment of his party’s performance in the state prior to the General Election of 2021.

Earlier, this Thursday, during his first day of the visit, Shah said, “Benefits of more than 80 schemes of the Central government for poor and tribals are blocked by the Mamata government. I would like to tell Mamata Banerjee that if she perceives that she can stop BJP by these moves then it is her misconception.”

Shah’s packed schedule for the two-day tour of WB started with his tribute to the legendary tribal leader Bhagwan Birsa Munda.

Shah’s appeal to the young voters of Bengal was prominently displayed on the promise that BJP will ensure state security and provide employment to the youth.

This is his first visit to West Bengal since his last appearance in the state which was on March 1 during the anti-CAA protests.

Among the several issues that he had raised during this visit, Shah vehemently criticised the government, alleging that “Violence and political killings have become the hallmark of Mamata regime.

The union minister will also be meeting with the various BJP’s state leaders during this visit. He also intends to have an assessment of the BJP’s review poll preparations, discuss party strategies, and look into other organizational matters.

“Delighted to see the amazing energy of our Bengal unit. Each & every karyakarta is working tirelessly to eradicate this corrupt TMC govt and bring BJP govt with an absolute majority in the state.”, he tweeted.
